Hartford,
Connecticut - The Bristow Middle School of West Hartford
Connecticut, designed by Tai Soo Kim Partners has received
its second honor for design:
the
“9 th Annual Impact on Learning Awards” sponsored by
the Council of Educational Facility Planners International.
The announcement was published in the August
issue of School Planning & Management .
Along
with eight recent school designs across the U.S., the
design by Tai Soo Kim Partners was honored for its responsiveness
to the challenges, the functionality of the design,
innovation, and the enhancement of student learning.
The jurors included: Franklin Brown, AIA, Director
of Planning, Ohio State Facilities; Dr. Dwayne Gardner,
Educational Facility Planner; and Nancy Myers of NR
Myers Group, LLC & SPM Columnist. More information
