- Following the success of Artspace Hartford,
we developed plans for a similar project in Norwich.
This adaptive reuse project reclaims an underutilized
old mill building within walking distance of City Hall
for 58 new residential units. The open floors and large
window openings are well-suited for artist's living and
working studios ranging in size from 850 sq. ft. with
a mix of one to three bedrooms. Portions of the existing
building were demolished, making way for more efficient
new construction and the remaining four-story building
was gutted and renovated. The ground floor features a
3,000 sq. ft. art gallery and a large garden area at the
building entry. |
