MASTER PLAN CONCEPT - Our
master plan created physical and symbolic connectionsto
the neighborhood, the sponsoring institutions, and the
City at large. The plan responded to the orientation
of surrounding streets, the relationship of nearby institutions,
and the scale of mixed residential architecture. The
buildings are sitedalong the street edge with their
welcoming front doors at the sidewalk, addressing the
community. A central pedestrian corridor curves
through the site from the public gateway, reaching symbolically
toward Trinity, and wrapping the central green that
fosters community within the campus.
