INTERIORS - The serene interiors are rendered in ground face block with meticulous detailing of white oak, mahogany and teak. In the library a central stair progresses through a generous atrium, and lifts one into the stacks, past study carrels overlooking the lobby. In addition to the library, the Center houses a lecture/recital hall, bookstore, School of Communications with TV and radio studios, Graphic Arts studios, the Museum of American Political Life, Joseloff Art gallery, and Conference Center. The Conference Center’s columned rotunda offers an elegant reception area and circulation among the meeting rooms and dining area.
