SITE PLAN - The master plan relates to the existing open spaces to the east, west and south of the site, addressing the surrounding streetscapes with a civic quality, while opening up this region of the country for development of a new, lakeside community. The concept for the site, organized around two axes, is that of a park. A landscaped garden, based on the traditions and geometric patterning of Islamic architecture, crosses the middle of the site on a north-south axis. This provides a gracious arrival sequence to the compound as well as an inviting outdoor space.
