CHALLENGES & OPPORTUNITIES - The siting of the new structure required sensitivity to the immediate residential neighbors and the wetlands on site. Our solution orients the upper grades to the 1st and 2nd story classrooms, which feature bay windows looking out onto the protected wetlands. And in remembrance of the old school's proud history, treasured decorative items were salvaged and incorporated into the new McKinley.
