| APPROACH
- Core to the design solution was the creation
of a large central courtyard with a new arched entrance
on a more pedestrian oriented side street. As the focal
point of the design, the enclosed courtyard provides a
safe and diverse environment for before and after school.
The courtyard also provides outdoor educational settings
away from the distractions of the neighborhood.
