OVERVIEW - This project represents a new vision of student life on campus. This 76,000 s.f. project includes 67,000 s.f. of new construction, and provides dining, student activity spaces, and informal study and gathering areas in association with a quadrangle of dormitories for 450 students. The sustainable design for Ross Commons and LaForce Hall respects the College’s distinctive architectural vocabulary and capitalizes upon the view corridors of the surrounding mountains. The College is located in an agricultural region of the Lake Champlain basin bordered by the Green Mountains to the east and the Adirondacks to the west.
