OVERVIEW - This award winning project encompasses both elementary school and branch of the City’s public library in one 74,350 sq.ft. structure. The school is located in a neighborhood just outside the City’s central business district, and separated from it by highway construction. The new structure replaces a series of unconnected structures that forced students to walk from one building to another in an urban New England climate. The design places the building proudly along Main Street with inspirational views of the City’s downtown skyline and remaining fabric of the neighborhood’s proud origins.
