Our professional partnership of licensed architects was established in 1970 as the Hartford Design Group, and renamed Tai Soo Kim Partners to reflect the creative leadership of its founder, Tai Soo Kim, and his longtime collaboration with Ryszard Szczypek and T. Whitcomb Iglehart. Strategic planning in 2001 for continuing the firm’s success brought the naming of four associates.

The size of the firm is deliberate. It is large enough to handle complex projects like the $42 million new U.S Embassy in Tunisia and small enough to allow our partners to be integrally involved in each project. We practice hands-on involvement of the partners and associates throughout the duration of each project, ensuring the highest quality of service.
