New High School Reaches Construction Milestone

Guilford Connecticut – Topping off ceremonies were held March 7, 2014 at the site of the new 200,000 sq.ft. high school now under construction in Guilford Connecticut. In anticipation of this day, the last beam to be put into place was whitewashed and signed by Guilford High School students to be forever encased within the walls of their new building. The existing students and staff can observe the daily progress on the new 3 story structure under construction from the roof of their existing school on the same site. The new school, being constructed by the O&G/Fusco Joint Venture was designed by Tai Soo Kim Partners, of Hartford Connecticut.
