Rising from the ashes, the Pathfinders Association of Manchester has reopened in an expanded and refurbished home after a devastating fire closed them down in April 2022. Joined by Congressman John Larson and State representatives Jason Doucette and Geoff Luxenberg, Pathfinders Executive Director Mike Pohl led the Ribbon Cutting ceremony. He thanked the long list of community members and businesses for “bringing the Pathfinders spirit back to the building.” Concluding with “Welcome home!”
Connect, Engage, Recover. The Pathfinder Association renders relief and assistance for people in addiction recovery through support groups that provide connection and foster a healthy lifestyle. Before the fire, 28 recovery meetings were held there weekly. TSKP Studio’s design for the facility’s expansion has nearly doubled the meeting space, made the facility fully accessible, and created a flexible and spacious event space with vaulted ceilings filled with natural light from new skylights.
Julia McFadden was the project manager working alongside Manchester’s Chris Till to design and build Pathfinders, a home where lives will be saved, and families will be helped for decades.
